Welcome back to InTheMix with Rafia! We've been gone for two long weeks and are super excited to be back mixing up drinks, dishing treats and showcasing our favorite gems.
On today's episode we discuss resolutions vs. intentions with two familiar faces,Cooper Collective employees Rachel and Jenny.
80% of new year resolutions fail so we wanted to try swapping out the word resolution with intention to guarantee we manifest all of our desires this time around.
There is no one way to set intentions but we wanted to share a few simple steps to get you started.
1. Create a routine
It can be something as easy as mediating every morning or writing out your wish list on Sundays for the rest of the week.
2. Be Specific and get creative with your desires
Think of the things you've always felt were out your reach but truly want and write them down. Give as much detail as possible.
3. Give yourself space and let it go
Let go of all your negative thoughts and get out of your own way. Try new things, get distracted and allow your intentions to manifest.
After a few months have passed you want to reflect. Think about what has happened in this time, what has changed and you've grown.
Just remember setting intentions is a very personal process and the experience is different for everyone. Relax, do not feel discouraged and happy manifesting.
